Privacy Policy
Effective September 7, 2026
This policy explains how ResumeCraft AI handles information when you use the service.
Information we collect
We may process account information, resume content, uploaded files, job descriptions, payment status, newsletter email and topic preferences, and basic usage or device information needed to operate and improve the service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide resume-building features, generate requested AI assistance, process subscriptions, send the optional weekly Career Brief, secure accounts, troubleshoot problems, and improve product performance.
AI processing
Content submitted to AI-powered features may be processed by service providers solely to produce the requested output. Do not enter highly sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for a resume.
Sharing and public links
A resume is private unless you choose to create a sharing link. Anyone with an active public link may be able to view the shared resume. You can disable sharing from your workspace.
Service providers
We may use hosting, analytics, AI, email, and payment providers to operate ResumeCraft AI. They receive only the information needed to perform their services.
Data choices
You may update or delete resume content from your account. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe through the link included in each email. You may also request account or data deletion through the contact method published with the service.
Security and retention
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information. Data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
Children
ResumeCraft AI is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age of majority should use the service with permission from a parent or guardian when required.
How your resume data is processed
When you create or edit a resume, your content is stored securely in your account. AI-powered features (writing suggestions, keyword analysis, cover letters, interview prep) send your resume text and job descriptions to AI providers to generate the requested output. This processing is done solely to produce your requested content — your data is not used to train external models or sold to third parties. You can delete individual resumes in the app and request verified deletion of your account and associated data.
Account deletion and data export
You can request a complete export of your resume and career data at any time through the contact form. You can delete individual resumes, cover letters, and applications from within the app. To request permanent deletion of your account and associated data, use the account-deletion option in Settings or submit a request through the contact form. We verify deletion requests before processing them.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date below will be revised when material updates are made.
Questions, billing concerns, privacy requests, and data-deletion requests can be submitted through the ResumeCraft AI contact form.
